Today's post is going to be totally tubular! That's right, I'm taking a trip back in time to the 80's with the brand new American Girl doll Courtney Moore. She's the newest addition to the line of American Girl Historical Characters. 👧
I was so excited for her reveal in September but unfortunately, thanks to school,🙄 I missed it, BUT I have the best parents in the world. They actually bought Courtney for me! I love you Mom and Dad. 🥰
Courtney came with her book and I promise I've already read it about 5 times. ✋ Her story is about how she handles all the change that happens in her life. Like how her parents are divorced and she spends every other weekend with her dad but now he's moving away. Her mom is remarried and she has a step sister who isn't too happy about sharing a room with Courtney. Courtney is huge into gaming 🕹 and feels like there aren't any girl heroes in any of the games that are out so she sets out to create her own game.
I love that Courtney is from the 80's. Everything that is in her collection my mom says she used to have as a little girl. Like cassette tapes, 📼 what's up with those? I got to attend an 80's party with Courtney this weekend and they talked about how they used to have to fast forward or rewind to find the song the wanted to hear. Ugh! I can't even imagine! 🤦♀️
